This gear ring features a small cavity for housing an RFID Capsule that works with 125 khz systems. The link provides RFID badges on Sparkfun, while the project is inspired by Daniel Goncharov of ZeGo Robotics. The ring is 3D printed using a Makerbot Replicator 2, and the capsule is securely placed with Gel Set superglue. Once inserted, it can be scanned into your desired RFID system.
