RF300 motor mount for 80mm pc fan size square shaped

Let's save the children with RF300 energy efficient motor! :) This is the motor mount for the most energy efficient motor for a mosquito trap. RF300 known as DVD/CD/BL player motor, or solar panel motor. RF300 is designed by Mabuchi motor company in Japan originally. Now spreading as dead-copy, after its high efficiency and low cost was becoming well-known. In the mosquito trap making industry (very small), using 12cm PC fan for 12V with 100CFM power is well known standard to make similar products as Biogent A.G. snatrap, foldable sentinel trap targeting powerful flyer species such as some of Aedes and Culex. Of course, this fan consumes a lot of energy due to its high voltage and high flow. If you run one night from dask to dawn, at least you need 12V 8Ah battery or more. However, some species such as forest living anopheles mosquitoes are not that strong flier which is comparatively easily caught in the weaker wind speed traps. It also means that we need only smaller amount of energy for running a trap over night. Years of experiments in the southeast Asian forest setting, I found RF300 with light weight triple blade prop is good for the field catchment of such insects overnight. With a 26650 lithium battery(I use Liito Kala battery Lii-50A 5000mAh 3.7V for reasonable and it has a true amount of power), you can run 16 hours continuously. If you need more power, you can use high efficient step-up DC-DC converter module (@ 1~3 US$) attached between motor and battery. 5V is just enough for any species of mosquito medically important for tropical diseases such as dengue fever and malaria etc. You may think about that there is 5V driving 80mm case fan available. But believe me, I tried all possible solutions. PC fans which are reasonable priced and easily available even in a country with such mosquito-borne diseases, its electric consumption is about twice much compared to RF300 driven fan trap. Virtue of pc case fan are such as quiet, stable, snap and run easy to use, but not that energy efficient due to its heavy fan blades and motor design. If you are energy rich in the field, you can use cheap model of 5V 80mm PC case fan or over drive it with 6V using DC-DC up converter, you will get a sufficient result. (6-voltage driving for 5V pc fan gives enough air intake speed for any-kind of mosquito, with a shorter life of the fan motor) I use this fan unit to another original 3D printed anopheles mosquito trap which is cheap and good enough for my purpose (about 60~100% catchment compared to 6V driven conventional CDC miniature light trap).
