Absolutely love the design by CaseStudyno8! Made some tweaks to make the mechanism work a bit smoother for me personally. Hope it will help others. These are very much works in progress as I'm trying to make them open as precisely as possible. Wanted to share anyway if anyone wants to improve on the concept. The inner emitter ring with teeth is a special part that relies heavily on good bridging. It needs attention during the slicing process to prevent problems. Ensure flow rate/extrusion is not too high to prevent hinge parts from sticking together improperly. When slicing, check the first layer carefully. If it is fusing the teeth then try using 'Split to Objects' (PrusaSlicer function), which should let it all slice clean as long as everything is in its original position. Then, it's a good idea to tighten your elephant foot settings to make sure the teeth don't stick together by proximity. But if they do, just use a razor to fix that. The upper rotator can be printed easier if you cut the narrow part off in your slicer and simply glue it together afterwards. Otherwise, use supports. Happy printing!
