2018 Review. My initial experiment back in 2016 took a wrong turn. Looking back, it's clear that this project was poorly designed, and I strongly advise against building it from scratch. I should have devoted more time to refining the files after the first prototype, but I chose to focus on other projects instead. I crafted a custom quadcopter inspired by Rey's Speeder Bike from Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens trailer. I conceptualized it in SketchUp and created the first prototype through 3D printing, thoroughly testing its capabilities myself. Initially using 5-inch propellers resulted in excessive vibrations; switching to 6-inch 6045 units resolved this issue. To improve efficiency, I plan to upgrade to SunnySky motors http://goo.gl/2B9V1e and 20A Little Bee ESCs http://goo.gl/YwU3jN. Power is provided by a 1500mAh battery, capable of accommodating various models due to its spacious compartment.
