Changelog: Coming soon - I'll be overhauling some parts to make them fit together seamlessly and also ensure compatibility with a custom LED rig that I'm designing. This should arrive within the next week or two. Updated 1/11 - I've added an alternate tsuka file, giving it a more rounded look instead of a hard lip. This change was made because the saber seems to shift in this area from one shot to another, creating an inconsistent appearance. Updated 12/30 - I modified the tsuka to have a slightly more torch-shaped design, allowing it to better accommodate wraps underneath. The updated model looks more appealing now. Updated 12/23 - After finding additional reference, I made corresponding updates to improve accuracy. This should result in a much more accurate representation now. You've built a new lightsaber! Your training is complete! This project is still very much a work-in-progress due to the limited reference available. However, it's designed with modularity in mind, allowing for easier modification of the pommel in the future. What I do know is that the saber differs dimensionally from the staff and has unique parts despite their similar appearance. The design is based on a 1" blade. To achieve proper scale and heft, it should be printed at 1.25x scale, using 1.25" dowel rod as connecting shims. Remember to wrap the handle with cheesecloth or medical tape and leather for an authentic look. Please note that this is Attribution-NonCommercial.
