Revopoint Pop 2 Case Laptop Mount
cults3d
Mount your Revopoint Pop 2 Scanner to the top of your laptop for more convenient head, body, and large object scans. I modified DigitalSoapbox's vented case to accommodate the wider slip shoe mount of the Pop 2, and added mounting tabs to hold it on top of my laptop screen. The laptop is proving easier and more reliable to use than either my iPhone XR and my Samsung Galaxy S10e. I didn't feel like ordering the $20 laptop mount that clamps in place (also it uses a tripod crew, rather than the quick mount). Has about 7mm space between the mounting tabs, and fits well on my Lenovo ThinkPad and my Dell Precision 5530. I printed in PLA (though the mounting tabs would benefit from something stronger). 0.2mm, infill triangles 20%. Support structure tree overhang 80, touching build plate. The mounting tabs may benefit from a brim (I had some slight curling on one). A bit of warning: its not clamped to your laptop. Don't do anything stupid like tilting too far left or right. Probably needs some cable management added. Remixed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4860002 by DigitalSoapbox.
