Revolver Pen Holder
thingiverse
I conceptualized a revolver pen holder that perfectly suited my requirements in terms of size and functionality. I extend my gratitude to the individuals who have previously designed similar products, as their work served as a valuable starting point. To create this design, I drew inspiration from a revolver barrel I had on hand, but modified it to accommodate eight spacious chambers capable of holding three standard ballpoint pens each. Additionally, the holder can also securely store scissors or felt-tip pens. To bring this project to life, you will need to acquire an 8 mm rod measuring 120 mm in length and a 608 skateboard bearing (such as 608zz). Both components are readily accessible on platforms like Amazon and AliExpress. If you're unable to find the exact length of the rod, you can easily trim it down using a cutting disc on a Dremel. You will also need to choose your preferred adhesive for attaching chamber plugs and the holder cap. Lastly, print eight identical pieces referred to as "pen holder plugs," one for each chamber.
