Revised Warcry Storage
thingiverse
With the latest releases to the Warcry gaming system I decided to overhaul my original enclosure design. I made it more versatile and eliminated some of the limitations of the earlier project. The new enclosure is designed to be highly modular, featuring two distinct box designs: a 60mm box for smaller models and a 100mm box for larger ones. An expansion ring allows users to incrementally increase the size of the box as needed. To facilitate easy printing of the box, I removed the lip and included a stacking ring that enables boxes to be mounted on top of one another. The card tray now sits over the box instead of being inserted into it. The redesigned lid no longer features the Warcry logo, making it possible for users to utilize the boxes with different modeling systems. A small indent is present at the top of the lid to accommodate a Warcry totum (available on Thingiverse). This new design also includes a unique feature: the box has no bottom except for a lip around the perimeter. This was inspired by the need to store figures in a cabinet and only transport them in boxes when moving to new game venues. To address this, I designed a magnetic card tray that sits at the bottom of the enclosure but can be easily removed and replaced (available on Thingiverse). I'll soon be posting some images showcasing the finished design. Just added two new files: both are card tray inserts with increased dimensions to accommodate cards in sleeves. One insert features straight corners, while the other has rounded corners – both measuring 67 x 92.
