(Revised) NCASE M1 Evo Tower Cooler Fan Bracket
thingiverse
-- What Is It and Why? --This is a revised design of the NCASE M1 Evo Tower Cooler Fan Bracket that W360 released (the source file and additional info from NCASE may be found here). It is meant to allow a side 120mm or 140mm fan to be installed in the Evo when using a tower-style CPU cooler. I used an "inverted" reference layout on my Evo (graphics card mounted horizontally on the top portion of the case), and I found that the original fan bracket:Had misalignment with its top left mounting hole and the front panel's mounting holeHad misalignment with its bottom right mounting hole and the bottom panel's slotsInterfered with my 180° adapter for my graphics card power cablesHad a fan opening that was slightly smaller than my 140mm fan blade diameter (not ideal for quiet airflow)...so I made this design to fix these issues.-- Additional Parts --QTY 1 of M3 x 5mm screw (M4 would probably also work) ==> mount bracket to front panelQTY 2 of M4 x 6mm screws (note mine had a pitch of 0.7mm) ==> mount bracket to bottom panel(optional) QTY 2 of rubber spacers for the M4 screws ==> prevent bottom screws from scratching bottom panel-- Special Notes --I have NOT tested this design in the "standard" reference layout (graphics card mounted horizontally on the bottom portion of the case), however I believe it should work for both "inverted" and "standard" layouts. I have tested this design using a v1.0 M1 Evo, and it should also work for the v1.1 M1 Evo.I provided the raw .prt (CAD) file I used to generate the STL file, so feel free to modify it as you see fit.
