I've had problems getting the solid layers to adhere properly over the supports at the bottom. I suspect it's due to my open-air printer, which I still need to enclose. To resolve this issue, I imported the model into Winds3D and converted it to a solid object. According to Simplify3D's print settings for my Prusa i3 Custom kit, making the object solid resulted in a significant reduction of material costs, saving me $1 over a 5-hour print time. Here are the updated Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Custom kit Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 15%
