UPDATE 10/8 2019: I've fine-tuned the size for precise printing with calibrated printers, leaving a slight margin of safety. If issues arise, simply sand the edges to achieve a smooth fit. I've successfully tested this design on a Prusa MK3S, and it fits flawlessly. This lens hood is tailored for the AF-P 18-55mm Nikon lens but may also suit other lenses. It boasts two secure flaps to keep everything in place. The design allows for easy reversibility, so you can store it on the lens when not in use. For a strong and durable print, use a robust material and add plenty of walls to ensure stability. No supports are required during printing. If the hood doesn't fit initially, try sanding the edges to achieve a seamless operation.
