REVERSED Table Tennis Rift S/Quest controller VR adapter
thingiverse
This is a custom-made accessory for my controller that adds a strap to give users more control and stability while playing games. The design of this accessory reverses the position of the adapter, allowing the user to hold the paddle with their index finger across the bottom. When swinging normally, the controller will be pushed forward, with the triggers facing the front and the halo at the back. I created this accessory because I experienced issues with sensor blocking and tracking loss during fast swings, which may be due to my large swing size. This design change allows for a more secure grip, reducing the likelihood of these problems. I built this accessory using TinkerCAD, but it's likely that someone with advanced 3D modeling skills could improve its functionality and appearance.
