Reverse Wireless Charger
thingiverse
I found retrofit wireless charging kits for older cellphones on Amazon for cheap. I thought it would be nice to encase one in plastic and make it possible to charge anything wirelessly. I printed in soft TPU to make it non-breakable and non-damaging. The two halves connect with built-in pins/sockets. I removed the built-in micro USB connector on the receiver itself and soldered on a longer USB cable with a micro-USB connector. I secured the unit inside the box with its own sticker and UV curing plastic. In the photograph, a wireless charger is being charged wirelessly from another wireless charger.
