Reverse lens filter holder for ultra macro - Nikon mount
thingiverse
Changelog: v1.2 - Improved design v1 - Initial release The Reverse Lens Macro technique involves mounting your lens backwards to capture extreme close-up shots beyond a 1:1 ratio. A suitable adapter for this purpose is available at Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:411379 by froetz. One major drawback of this method is that the rear lens, typically protected by the DSLR, is exposed to environmental factors. To mitigate this issue, attach a commonly available 52mm lens filter to the end of the reversed lens. This acts as a protective shield for the rear lens element. A standard 52mm lens cover can be applied once the setup is secured in place. For those who cannot find suitable adapters, there are additional models available at Cgtrader: https://www.cgtrader.com/M600
