Reverse Engineer's Ring

Reverse Engineer's Ring

thingiverse

The Reverse Engineer's Ring is a variation of the Canadian engineering tradition - the Iron Ring, but it doesn't require a professional rite of passage. Symbolizing the potential to cause harm with one's creations, the ring features six facets on top and bottom instead of twelve for respecting the original tradition. Worn on the little finger of the dominant hand, its flat edges rub against the page during drawing or writing. Created using Blender's bolt generator plugin and printed in plastic before steel via an online service, it is recommended to follow this method for a unique result. The provided file has an inner diameter of about 17mm.
