I created a custom tail for my Revell model by modifying its folding design to a fixed one. To do this, I fabricated several components from styrene and then digitally scanned them to create detailed 3D printable pieces. The photo depicts these styrene parts, which will be used on an RC flying model that's been converted from a kit, not a static display model. Since it's intended for flight, some scale adjustments are acceptable. Print Settings Resolution: A layer height of 0.04 mm is recommended for optimal results.
