Revan Saber Endcap
thingiverse
I printed the Revan saber and noticed the bottom end came out flat as expected from the build plate. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remove anything to get to the desired bottom cap design, although it was visible. To fix this issue, I designed a small endcap that could be glued onto the bottom of the saber. This was a quick solution and doesn't match the actual end design, but it does improve the overall look of the saber. The pictures of the single part on the build plate show an earlier version, while the picture of the saber end displays the final design. To make this piece more smooth, I added a small lip around it and more sides to the circle. Keep in mind that these modifications add 6mm to the length of the saber, which might be important for some users.
