Jan 1 2019 I suddenly had an epiphany about printing a stand that snaps onto rods and rests on the print bed, assuming the bed has been accurately leveled. This allows you to place the stand on it, ensuring perfect alignment of the rods from underneath. Jan 6 I put these to the test and they worked flawlessly the very first time. If you're feeling adventurous and willing to tinker with your gantry, please let me know if they work for you too.
