A piece of a Caen stone leaf molding taken from the south wall of the south aisle gallery in Rochester Cathedral has been reused. Unfortunately, its origins remain unclear. However, it's worth noting that Caen stone was widely used during the mid-12th century renovation of both the cathedral and cloisters. Bibliography
