Reusable dust mask

Reusable dust mask

Reusable frame for a dust mask. Simply heat the frame on your bed to mold it to your face (just be careful not to overheat!). You'll need: - Filter media: I used a high-rated filter from an AC unit. Cut the squares out to fit the mask. For $15, you can get enough to last a month. Double up the layers for extra protection. Elastic band: This will go around your ears to hold the mask in place. If you can't find elastic bands, consider cutting one off an old pair of shorts. When you're done using it, discard the filter portion and then wash and sanitize the mask, band, and ear protector before letting them dry.
