Everybody who owns one knows how annoying cleaning a Mighty Mouse is. The only way to properly get it working again (for a longer period) is to disassemble it and to clean the internals of the mouse ball "module". That unfortunately means you have to remove the bottom ring, which is glued on. You can get this thing off without breaking it, but once you've got everything nice and shiny inside, you'll have to glue it back on, because there are no clips to hold it in place. Enter Thingiverse: rbuckbailey's "Apple Mighty Mouse Replacement Bottom Ring" I really liked his idea of adding clips to the ring that attach to the "hinges"! This way you can always pry it off, clean the internals and pop the ring right back on. After printing it, I felt the fitment could need a little tweaking, which is why I created my own version in openSCAD. :) Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 100% Notes: I used green glow in the dark PLA from Kaisertech. ***Bed:** 60°C ***Hotend:** 210°C Category: Computer
