Reunion Island is a French overseas department located in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar, and classified as an outermost region of the European Union. The highest point on the island is the active Piton des Neiges volcano with a height of 3070 meters. This image was created using QGIS and Qgis2threejs software. It's based on data from the ALOS Global Digital Surface Model (AW3D30) and Landsat imagery provided by ArcGIS online World Imagery service.
