RetroPie Case

RetroPie Case

thingiverse

A laser-cut case houses my RetroPie setup at present; however, I craved a more console-like appearance. Inspired by the original NES, OUYA, and Pac-Man's adversaries, this is the first version of my case design. The front panel contains slots for SNES controllers and a reset multi-switch for the PetRockBlog GPIO adaptor (permitted for Escape button functionality, console shutdown, etc.). Top USB ports facilitate WiFi adapter usage or memory stick installation to upload new ROMs or conventional USB joypads. The bottom accommodates power and SD card slots, though micro USB plug space may be insufficient. Composite and audio outputs, rather than HDMI, will be used for a retro look via RCA connectors. Updated files are print-ready, including SketchUp master file. Printing of case and base has been successful; a photo is added to the gallery.
