Retroflag GPi Augmented D-Pad
thingiverse
This is a remix of izeman's dpad to look closer to the original Game Boy D-Pad. Major changes are the texture ridges being additive instead of subtractive, rounded center post, and the option to add a 6-32 threaded insert (7/32" OD, .15" OAL) for attaching a small joystick. The issue that I had with this design is that inputs are very hard to actuate with the PCB screws tightened all the way down. Try loosening the two screws next to the D-Pad half a turn if this happens to you.
