Retro Turn Signal Lens
thingiverse
Made to replace a 2.2" long 1.4"/1.6" O.D. 1.2" I.D. retro blinker lens from my dad's custom Saab two-stroke powered three-wheeler. Square hole is for drilling to #40 and then tapping up from there. A nub is present on the old lens, but it's not clear if it indexes with the housing or not. Added a nut trap for a 1/4" nut on July 22, 2017. Print Instructions: One shell, 20% infill, six top layers and four bottom layers. Extrusion width is .6mm, layer height is .2mm (.25 for the first layer). Print speed is slow, like 25mm/sec. The filament in the picture is Gizmo Dorks' 1.75 transparent orange PLA. This three-wheeler is now on display at the LeMay Family Collection at Marymount Museum. The engine and gearbox come from a Saab GT850.
