Retro Tech: Magnavox VHS/VCR

At the end of 2019 I stumbled upon Sketchfab's Retro Electronics contest - I had initially planned to participate but ultimately couldn't allocate enough time for anything beyond preliminary research, which was when I discovered this vintage video player, a Magnavox VHS/VCR system. Its cheesy brand name, chunky buttons and tacky wood trim immediately won me over, and although I didn't manage to complete the contest, I saved all the images I had gathered and began modeling the Magnavox in the new year. Modeling and UVs were handled in 3DSMax, textures were created in Substance Painter, and a bit of Photoshop was utilized for decals and labels.
