I got my spark for this creation when I looked at some fabulous 50s era pictures of futuristic space suits. I wanted it to be not only simple in structure but also simple in appearance. I had an absolute blast bringing this vision to life. I headed over to the dollar store to grab those lights, and I just happened to have some foam on hand that I could cut for the helm. I included a detailed illustrated parts breakdown to make assembling the parts a breeze. The instructions feature images with each part clearly labeled and exactly where it goes - making it easy as can be. Enjoy! Happy Halloween!!! Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: Your choice Post-Printing Assembly I employed the welding technique to join all of the parts together. Since there were some gaps in the joints, it was perfect for placing filament in those gaps and using a soldering iron with a flat head - I was able to heat both parts and the filament at the same time and smooth out the seam as well. There was virtually no sanding required. How I Designed This Design software I drew inspiration from those iconic 50s sci-fi space suits. I used Autodesk Maya to design the 3d model with precision and flair.
