Retro Rocket
myminifactory
I crafted this design in Tinkercad and subsequently severed it into two sections, attaching a threaded connector to each part. Since I'm planning to print this on a Printrbot Simple, my build space was severely limited, prompting me to devise a way to create a larger rocket. After four separate attempts, I finally achieved a working model, but not before encountering numerous issues with the side rocket fin assemblies - they kept snapping off mid-print or immediately after printing. Additionally, the screw thread concept had to be abandoned due to my printer's imperfect calibration. Instead, I adopted the pin system from a user on Thingiverse, which yielded mixed results for the pin connector, but ultimately proved successful in holding the model together. Whew! Numerous trials and errors led me to this final design.
