Retro Playstation Pi Micro USB Power Outlet
thingiverse
Scope This is a compact Micro-USB power outlet designed specifically for the original PlayStation 1 case. About I was building a custom PlayStation Pi Retro console, but decided to use a micro USB power adapter instead of the standard one. To accommodate this change, I created this outlet to securely hold the corresponding micro USB adapter in place. It fits perfectly within the PlayStation casing. Different Versions Version 1: Basic Design The original version features only a USB cable holder. Version 2: Enhanced Version This upgraded design includes an overhang for the circuit board from the PlayStation Pi Retro console project. Use this version if you are using the step-down converter from this project. Additional Parts I used a StarTech micro-USB cable as an inlay for this part, specifically the 0.5m long Micro-USB model. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Print the top part upside down to ensure a secure fit within the PlayStation case.
