I created these letters and numbers for a 1980's Dr Pepper letterboard to use as a pinball high score board. The letters and numbers are approximately 1 inch high. I made a couple of pinball images for it as well. I don't know if these will work on a modern felt letterboard. Print a letter and try it. The letters L and J have an extra tab to hold them straight. If the spacing isn't right for your letter board just snap them off.
