Retro joystick spare part.

I'm unsure about the joystick's make, but I use it for gaming on my trusty Commodore Amiga. Unfortunately, the original component gave out on me, so I decided to fabricate a replacement. Perhaps someone out there can shed some light on this issue after taking a gander at the attached photo of my joystick. Maybe it will be of some help.
