I'm re-remixing the original design from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3853024, a great little tool that's getting an upgrade by CWills. After assembling it for myself, I encountered two issues that might not affect everyone else. The knob wouldn't easily engage lock mode, so I modified its angle to make it slide into place more smoothly. I also noticed that if your thumb is wet or you're using silicone grease on the slide action, it's tough to use your thumb to move the blade in and out, so I added a friction "grip" to the male part. I'm still learning Cura and 3D printing, so bear with me. To print this grip, I used support and ended up with a "messy" surface finish - it's not perfect, but it adds character to the design. If you don't want that look, I recommend printing it upright with supports in Cura. I'm excited to share my first entry on Thingiverse!
