Retinol-Binding Protein

Retinol-Binding Protein

thingiverse

This human holocellular retinol-binding protein II (CRBP-II) model is derived from Protein Data Bank entry 2RCT and visualized using VMD software. The protein backbone is depicted in cartoon form, with residues contacting retinol illustrated as spheres. Two STL files are available: one for the protein and another for retinol, designed to fit seamlessly together. Various perspectives showcase correct placement of retinol within the protein structure. The model was successfully 3D printed using a Replicator 2 with MakerWare 2.2.2.89, featuring standard resolution, 25% infill, three shells, and both raft and support structures.
