This version can be printed directly without supports. I simply trimmed off the bottom 2mm of the original file and uploaded it as a modified copy. It fits perfectly with the CAP 1" chromed bars. As a suggestion, it works well with the CAP painted bars, but doesn't spin on as smoothly. This might be related to my personal print settings or how the bars were manufactured. You may want to increase the STL size by 2% in both the X and Y axes for a snug fit that spins on easily.
