I decided to push the limits by crafting an armor piece that seamlessly blended organic textures from a stump with rugged weapon textures for a truly one-of-a-kind Melee weapon, all while incorporating the scorching allure of hot metal along its axe edges. The intricate models were carefully crafted in 3D Studio Max, but it was the textures that allowed me to tap into the full potential of Substance Designer and Painter, leveraging my skills to create more complex designs within the designer's realm. With this project now complete, I'm feeling a strong sense of accomplishment, and I'm already gearing up for my next creative challenge.
