Response alarm magnet mount
thingiverse
Human builds a custom block to fit the magnet of a home alarm door sensor, ensuring perfect alignment with the sensor's reed switch. A stable base was needed for the magnet, so a mount was created to attach it securely. The magnet is firmly screwed into place on the mount. Next, foam tape holds the sensor snugly against the door and the mount fastened to the door frame. The magnetic component measures 55mm in length. Pilot holes spaced at 38mm intervals were made, and the magnet is elevated by 22mm. The base's width comes out to 24mm. Printer Settings: Rafts: Unnecessary Supports: Irrelevant Resolution: Set at 0.25mm precision Infill: Achieving 20% density Notes: PETG was used for this project, resulting in excellent performance.
