Respiratory Mask with 2 Valves [with Fusion 360 source]
thingiverse
This design is based on \r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4225667 \r\n\r\nwhich I reverse engineered here: \r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4273395\r\n\r\nand added an exhale valve here:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4282744\r\n\r\nTwo valves in this mask ensure two separate paths for the air: entering through the filter while inhaling, exiting through the bottom valve while exhaling.\r\n\r\nThe mask comes in three sizes (large, medium, small) each with two thickness options (thin 0.8mm, wide 1.2mm).\r\n\r\nThere are two types of filter holders:\r\n\r\n- A standard holder for a sheet of filter which can be purchased or made from a surgical mask or vacuum cleaner bag.\r\n- A N95 filter holder with a threaded cap.\r\n\r\nI've also designed a belt latch and a filter box container. Source files are provided for these too.\r\n\r\nFor border sealing, adhesive seal foam tape is recommended. To seal the filter connector, super glue can be used.\r\n\r\nThe valve membrane was recycled from an old mask, but you can print the one included or make one on your own with your preferred material. It must be flexible and durable. You can use the membrane stencil to cut a disk of the correct diameter.\r\n\r\nYou can modify the mask thickness and attachment part clearance using the Fusion 360 source file.
