Respirator w/ Filter Adaptor A respirator design that can accommodate any filtration unit you choose to use. Each conventional surgical mask can be cut into five separate filter "discs", effectively increasing each mask's life span by a factor of five. Airflow entering the filter shroud is diverted 90 degrees, significantly reducing the chance of contact with aerosols coming from the front side. The external surface of the filter can be easily disinfected using 70% ethanol or isopropanol without damaging its hydrophobic properties.
