The clips on my N20 mask began to crack and break over time, despite the rest of the headgear remaining in excellent condition. I carefully harvested the neodymium magnets from the broken clips and set them aside for reuse. To ensure a secure bond, I applied a small amount of epoxy to the magnet, taking care not to get any glue into the bottom of the dovetail area. This would prevent the magnet from hooking securely in place. For optimal results, I gently scuffed the surface of the magnet before applying the epoxy. The circular depressions on either side of the clips provided ample room for larger magnets, should I need them in the future. The stock magnets measured approximately 10x2mm in size, while the hole in each clip was a generous 15mm in diameter. To guarantee proper function, I made certain to orient the magnets correctly during installation. This ensured that they would align with the adjacent magnet located on the other part of the mask, which also featured a magnet in its design.
