The connecting rod and its master counterpart were initially too bulky for the remixed, downsized piston design, so I trimmed them down to size. Since they don't demand sanding, it's a straightforward process. To prevent cracks from developing later on, insert brass bushings while the parts are still warm from the heated bed. Forcing the bushings in when the parts are cold can lead to cracks and splits. As the plastic expands when hot, it contracts onto the bushing as it cools down. The original assembly instructions suggested placing an M4 washer between the crankshaft and the connecting rod master. I recommend using a single AXK0619 thrust needle bearing along with one washer and a longer screw when employing the remixed full top version 3 crankshaft. This modification resolves issues with the height and angle of the connecting rods as well as the wobble of the connecting rod master, enabling smoother assembly rotation due to reduced piston friction.
