This is a rack designed specifically for the E24 series of Resistors, which come in two sizes: 1/4 Watt and 1/2 Watt. Each drawer in this rack has a designated spot for each decade from x10^0 through x10^6. The drawers fit snugly but can be pulled out if tilted forward slightly. To prevent the rack from moving, I added small rubber nubs to the bottom front of each drawer, which causes the rack to tilt back by 0.5mm. Update: I received a request for a 12x1 rack with individual drawers, so I created one as requested. As per the request, I removed the hex grid pattern from the original design. Update 2: After receiving another request, I added a blank drawer to the design and exported all the racks and one of the drawers in f3d files for anyone who wants to customize them further. Update 3: Michaeljbell pointed out an error in the label for the 1.1 Ohm drawer, which I corrected and updated the file accordingly. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer Model: Prusa Mk2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: 25% Notes: I printed the drawers flat on their sides, resulting in a smooth surface for them to slide along. The rack itself was printed lying down. To avoid issues with thin walls, it's recommended to disable "Detect thin walls" when printing this design. Design Process: Fusion 360 This is my first project designed entirely in Fusion 360. In fact, this is the first 3D printed project I've created from scratch. The idea for the Krang came about during dinner with my children; I drew it and later scanned and converted it into an SVG file.
