Resistor Box

thingiverse

A quick and efficient organizer for resistors in ziploc bags that can be easily screwed to the underside of a shelf. This innovative solution came from a clever idea shared on https://electronics.stackexchange.com/a/209307 and also showcased at https://www.zachpoff.com/resources/quick-easy-and-cheap-resistor-storage/. After purchasing an assortment from Amazon via https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07RQ4J41V, the resistors arrived with each size already packed in a convenient ziploc bag. To make finding specific values easier, labels were created for each bag. These labels (63.5mm x 29.6mm) were designed using gLabels and can be found at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qVkIrEJiac90qbKTcYLfnNTf2s2z7zmH?usp=sharing. Although no guarantee is provided for the accuracy of the color ring calculation, this system offers a reliable solution for organizing resistors. The box and mounting brackets were designed quickly in Onshape and are available at https://cad.onshape.com/documents/f33ab1fc989ef0e052f5f384/w/4de7df70fc60fc54dc0e967b/e/9aa21624234557265dce0284.
