A Titanium pin from the Resistance faction in Ingress (by Niantic Labs, Google) was created using 3D-printing services at make.dmm.com. The finishing touches were added with sandpaper of varying grits (#180, #400, #600, #1800). The total cost amounted to $51 for the titanium print and $2 for the pin kit, along with $3 for the sandpaper. To make this with non-metal materials, only the base needs to be 3D printed and then adhere the pin kit needle.
