Resinmade Shock Absorber / Buffer
thingiverse
Thanks for your kind words and likes! This design aims to minimize shock absorption through velocity reduction via organic-shaped structures that absorb kinetic energy. Notably, the disks at both ends remain rigidly in place, resisting radial dislocation. I'm currently working on printing this model with my 3D printer, but I've encountered some technical issues so far. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly from now on! Update: August 19th, Additional Design Created - This revised design is specifically tailored for an 8mm shaft.
