The Resin Jar is specifically designed as a threaded container capable of holding between 50 to 130ml of liquid in various sizes - including 50ml, 75ml, 100ml, and 130ml. This design proves extremely effective for short-term storage, ideal for mixing custom colors. Most resin printer vats hold around 100-130ml of material. To ensure the jar's safety, never fill it beyond its narrowest point at the top. When printing, the lid screws into this narrow section to create a tight seal. The effectiveness of this seal greatly depends on the specific printer used, the type of material, and the settings employed during the printing process. The inner lid features an indentation that can accommodate a rubber band to further enhance the seal. For safe resin storage, opaque materials like black, dark colors, and deep reds should be used to block out as much light as possible. To sidestep potential issues related to liquids, I've printed these tests on my FDM printer, but may try using the resin printer with caution in the future. During testing, PLA produced a better watertight surface than wood, regardless of material. For added security, it's recommended that the interior be coated with a thin layer of resin and cured to improve seal performance on layered surfaces.
