Resin Christmas Tree
thingiverse
The 3D printed form can be filled with resin and hung as a decoration. The SVG file can be used by a Cricut to cut paper that is put into the tree before the resin is poured into it - and use the pen to add other decorative aspects. For some reason some of the papers were slightly larger than the tree and had to be trimmed to fit; in many others they fit perfectly - I made more than 50 of them and would say that 30 or them fit. It is sometimes best to pour a thin layer on the paper and let it harden before completely filling the tree as the paper sometimes floats. I made some trees (not pictured) with paper craft strips that had embedded plastic jewels bought at a hobby store - they looked like strings of Christmas tree lights! One of the pictured trees was decorated using fabric paint. ~5.25 x 3.25 inches, 13x8 cm
