This residential complex was built in the late sixties and early seventies, where it remained almost totally uninhabited due to its location being (at the time) outside the city. Nobody wanted to live nearby, as it was essentially a vast mountainous area dotted with small villages. The only exception was Avenida Las Delicias, which led directly into Plaza de Toros, and from there continued along Guajira Avenue towards the stunning beaches surrounding Lake, attracting many residents who chose to settle there and remain to this day.
