Research drill
thingiverse
A researcher designs a drilling device capable of excavating through the earth using three-dimensional printed materials. The primary objective is to create a hole in the central or lower central area of the drill, allowing dirt to be suctioned up through it. This design enables attachment to a servo and drill system, which can then be connected to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). As a result, the UAV will be able to drill into the earth while collecting data on the extracted dirt. The proposed drill measures approximately 4.5 inches in height and boasts inner wall dimensions of 1.131 inches within its ring width.
