The RepWalker is an innovative Shellmo module, with its origins found in the open source robot project, Shellmo. This project has a homepage at shellmo.org and a forum at shellmo.net. Designed by Radow, the RepWalker Mutant RA04 is based on Sho's original RepWalker, but redesigned for use with a RepRap printer. Key features of this design include ease of printing and robustness for play. The RepWalker serves as an Arduino-based robot platform that can be enhanced with bumper switches and various sensors. For optimal printing, all parts should have a height of 0.5 mm, best printed with a layer height of 0.5 mm (with a 0.5 mm nozzle) or 0.25 mm (on a MakerBot). If your RepRap is not well calibrated, print parts #1, #4, and #5 in the recommended orientation for successful assembly. You can print "Standard Servo Dummy 40 x 20 mm base" from Thingiverse for this purpose. All parts are secured with M3 screws and nuts, 10 mm in length for the chassis and 12 or 16 mm to mount servos.
