cgtrader
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, famed during WWII, was designed as a high-performance fighter/bomber with a powerful Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engine. First flown on 6 May 1941, it was delivered to the US Army Air Corps in June 1942 for use in the European Theater. Later, Jugs served as escort fighters for B-29 bombers in the Pacific but excelled primarily in ground attack roles. The model features alternative equipment options, such as a rocket launcher or droptank/M65 bomb. It's detailed enough for close-up renders and comes with bodypaint textures and standard materials. The zip-file contains 24 textures, one material, and an alpha-map, requiring no cleaning up before rendering. No special plugins are needed to open the scene, which has Phong shading interpolation at 35°. Separate parts for flying and standing versions are included. For Note, in certain file formats, the propeller's Alpha must be manually loaded into the Material/Opacity channel. The model is compatible with c4d R11 and R16, as well as obj, lwo, and fbx (File Version 2010).
